This session explores the implementation of AI in healthcare, focusing on the approaches adopted by Seoul National University Hospital (SNUH).
We will cover several key areas in AI integration in healthcare: First, we’ll discuss how Large Language Models (LLMs) can be utilized in healthcare settings, examining their unique capabilities compared to traditional AI models. Second, the importance of multimodal models in healthcare AI will be addressed, exploring why these models are becoming crucial for comprehensive and accurate medical analysis. Third, we’ll discuss how SMART on FHIR can be leveraged for real-time deployment of AI models, enabling seamless integration into healthcare systems and enhancing patient care. Lastly, we’ll share insights on navigating data utilization regulations in Korea. Our experiences with regulatory sandboxes will be presented, illustrating how these innovative approaches can overcome barriers to AI implementation while maintaining compliance.
