Introduction

Catholic Medical Center(CMC) is a medical institution founded in the spirit of holistic healing inspired by the love of Jesus Christ for patients suffering from illnesses.

Currently, CMC has established the largest medical network in Korea, with the Catholic University College of Medicine, College of Nursing, and 8 affiliated hospitals, including Seoul St. Mary’s Hospital, comprising about 6,400 beds.

CMC has established the Information Convergence Institute, an IT organization, with the vision of becoming a leader in future healthcare innovation.
Notably, Seoul St. Mary’s Hospital is the main hospital of the CMC which is located at the central Kangnam area of Seoul. Seoul St. Mary started the digital transformation from 2019 by implementing clinical data warehouse, RTLS(real-time location system) for medical equipment, RPA(robotic process automation), digital pathology, and so now became the forefront of the digital healthcare ecosystem both domestically and internationally. Seoul St. Mary have recorded a score of 310 in the HIMSS DHI Assessments.
The tour of Seoul St. Mary’s Hospital is scheduled for the morning of October 1st and will be conducted in a way that does not affect hospital operations.

The arrival KIOSK is help to reduce unnecessary process between medical staff and patient. Also, the system provides the temporary patient number for one day to keep the personal information and increase the convenient. Measurement KIOSK measure the height, weight and blood pressure automatically and record the information to HIS directly. It is also reducing the process and the human error

Introduction

Yonsei University Health System (YUHS) was founded in 1885 as the first modern medical institution in Korea. Originally named Kwanghyewon, the name was later changed to Chejungwon and then Severance Hospital. As the hospital expanded over the years, the YUHS was born.

YUHS is comprised of 3 colleges (Medicine, Dentistry, Nursing), 2 graduate schools (Public Health and Nursing), and 13 Hospitals (Severance Hospital, Gangnam·Yongin Severance Hospital, Yonsei Cancer Hospital, etc.).

Severance Hospital, the main hospital of the YUHS received the JCI accreditation for the first time in Korea, and is the nation’s first hospital to introduce robotic surgical system. And the first hospital to start Heavy Ion Therapy in Korea.
