Minsung Cho is in charge of public sector healthcare and research team at AWS, helping Korean hospitals and health tech companies adopt cloud-based healthcare solutions. Recently, he has been actively involved in rare diseases and cancer research through genomic research and is also participating in pilot projects with genomic companies and national bio big data projects. He worked for GE Healthcare Korea for 19 years as a healthcare IT engineer, business unit manager, and head of service sales, managing PACS (Picture Archive and Communication System) and designing medical device service sales programs.
He holds a Bachelor of Biomedical Engineering at Yonsei University and received his EMBA from KAIST College of Business. Currently, he serves as the Director of International Cooperation at Digital Healthcare Alliance Forum, connecting Korean healthcare companies with overseas customers in the cloud environment.
