Dr. Lee served as CIO of Seoul National University Bundang Hospital, Korea’s leading digital hospital, for seven years.
During this time, the hospital achieved HIMSS EMRAM Stage 7 certification three times and transformed the hospital system to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic in a short period of time by leveraging the digital environment prepared during the pandemic.
Recently, he successfully built a health information highway project at Seoul National University Bundang Hospital, and is currently a member of the Korean Healthcare Data Standardization Committee, contributing to the establishment of data standardization and interoperability infrastructure as a representative of the CDI working group. He is working on data standardization not only within hospitals, but also at the national level and between countries.
