Dongchul Cha, MD, Ph.D., is the Director of the Center for Innovative Medicine at NAVER Corporation. With a unique background in both engineering and clinical medicine, Dr. Cha is dedicated to the convergence of ICT and healthcare. NAVER Healthcare Lab strives to provide exceptional care for NAVER employees, enhance healthcare delivery, and shape the future of global healthcare. Dr. Cha’s research focuses on applying artificial intelligence in clinical decision support, and medical informatics. He is particularly passionate about integrating patient engagement into IT solutions to improve healthcare outcomes and patient experience. Before joining NAVER, Dr. Cha served as a professor at Yonsei University Otorhinolaryngology department, where he also earned his BSc, MD, and Ph.D. degrees. His work has been widely published in peer-reviewed journals, highlighting his commitment to advancing the field of medical informatics and leveraging technology to revolutionize patient care.
